About Hakuna Matata Child Care
Hakuna Matata: In Home Child Care for Kids with Special Needs was created by a former Special Education teacher of 6 years named Danielle Moreno-Magana. Danielle has 6 years of experience teaching children with disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome, Emotional Disturbance, Cerebral Palsy, Genetic Disorders, etc.) in a classroom setting and 6+ years of experience volunteering for non-profit organizations that help kids with special needs. She has a passion for creating developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for children to help promote academics, communication, and social skills. Danielle also has a Bachelor's in General Education (PK-6) and Special Education (PK-12) as well as a Masters in Special Education for High-Incidence Disabilities from UNT.
